Abstract

In January 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Depok City are 2.34 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.98.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in almost all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.42 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.87 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.81 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.11 percent; health group at 0.47 percent; transportation group by 0.50 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 6.87 percent; education group of 2.18 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.62 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.71 percent. Meanwhile, the only group that experienced a decline was: the information, communication and financial services group by -0.23 percent.
