In May 2021 in Depok City there was an inflation of 0.65 percent with a consumer price index (CPI) of
107.87. Of the 11 (eleven) expenditure groups experiencing inflation, namely the Food, Beverage &
Tobacco by 0.94 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels by 0.08
percent, Household Equipment, Equipment & Routine Maintenance group of 0.20 percent,
Health group by 0.10 percent, transportation group by 1.74 percent, recreation group,
Sports, & Culture by 0.53 percent, Food & Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 1.07
percent, and the Personal Care & Other Services Group at 0.89 percent. While the group that
experienced deflation, namely the Clothing & Footwear Group by 1 percent. While the group that did not
underwent changes, namely, the Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group, and the Education Group.
